Does Pore Vacuum Suction Work?

We saw it everywhere on the web, and it made us want to test it. But is the blackheads vacuum suction really safe? Before embarking, we talk with Dr. Isabelle Catoni, cosmetic dermatologist.
On paper, the gadget on the Web looks like a miraculous beauty and skin care accessory. His promise? Aspirate in a single pass impurities and sebum that clog the pores of the skin and create the famous "black spots". But see this demonstration video (sensitive souls, abstain).

BLACKHEADS VACUUM IS FOR USE WITH PARCIMONY

Isabelle Catoni, a dermatologist, understands the excitement of this tool: "to clean the pores once in a while, it's great". Be careful however: its use must remain punctual!

"In the long run, it's a guarantee to develop dilated Winer pores," she warns. This pathology of the skin, the dermatologist knows it well. "By being emptied by too vigorous physical gestures, the pores dilate, and continue to refill," she explains. The result ? Pores wide open, which look like small holes in the skin ... and black spots that come back to lodge permanently. And to top it off, the damage is irremediable, unless you go through surgery.

DO WE HAVE TO DISPOSE OF OUR BLACKHEADSVACUUM?

No panic: a punctual (and reasonable) use of the machine is quite possible. But if we want to fight against a recurrent blackheads problem, Isabelle Catoni is formal: "The best way to empty and tighten the pores is to go through professional treatments." Heating processes that will open and clean the pores without risk, especially thanks to the laser, and peelings that will eliminate dead cells and promote the renewal of the skin.

In conclusion, is the black-spot vacuum cleaner practical? Yes. Is it a miracle solution?
